So, what is the buzz about? Body FX is the first of its kind that combines radio-frequency energy, deep tissue heating and suction-coupled negative pressure. This triple combination allows the Body FX to PERMANENTLY reduce the top 30% of the fat layer of the area treated. Traditional machines would either merely shrink the inside of the fat cell, allowing it to enlarge again and requiring monthly sessions of maintenance. The newer machines that we have seen on the market would only work small areas at a time, requiring multiple hours of very costly sessions. Body FX will work an entire area in about 40 minutes.
Another reason we love the Body FX is because of its safety features. The device is adjustable so we can set the optimal temperature that is both effective and comfortable for the client. The hand-piece provides an additional safety feature that is constantly reading the temperature of the skin to ensure it is at a safe range. These are important aspects to ensure we can provide the safest and most effective treatment available.
There are other advantages of the Body FX that are worth mentioning. There is minimal discomfort with the treatments. It feels like a suction cup with a little thump at the end. There is no downtime. The skin may be pink and can even have some lingering redness for a couple of hours, but never something you would need to hide. It will feel a little like the skin has been in the sun for a couple of hours. Besides permanently reducing fat and reducing circumference area, this treatment has also shown significant improvement in cellulite. This is very exciting as cellulite is one of the most difficult conditions to see improvement. The best news of all is that in industry studies, everyone has had a positive outcome! Many of our clients have already signed up to treat second, third and sometimes fourth additional areas after seeing the incredible results of a single area. A client who was measured yesterday lost an impressive 3.5 inches from her abdomen.
Any area of the body may be treated. We have seen improvement in abdomens, thighs, knees, arms, backs and love handles. The series of treatments require that you come in once per week for eight weeks. If you are trying to decrease the circumference of an area, you will need a single maintenance treatment every 6 months. If you are treating cellulite, you may need a maintenance treatment a bit more frequently because cellulite is a genetic condition that will return.
